With just 2 tabs open, (this site and msn.com), and no extension loaded, Google Chrome uses 20 system processes and more than 600MB of memory. If I open anotgher tab on a more content rich site, I will take 20 seconds to load, meanwhile, I can't even switch tab, just stuck there. This doesn't happen to Brave or Edge, only in Google Chrome. The browser is still sluggish to load, even on the simplist Google Search home page, it stuttered. the Chrome browser is on the latest version.I ran Malwarebyte to check malware, none reported.I cleared all cookies, history, and cache data.the memory utilization of my system is less than 50%, I had 16GB installed.I have checked everything that I know that could have caused the slowdown.
